Its large, expressive eyes and comical facial features make it an instant favorite with aquarists.
The Molly Miller Blenny is one of the most effective algae-grazing blennies available for the marine aquarium. It feeds voraciously on filamentous hair algae, diatoms, and microalgae, making a visible impact on algae growth within days of introduction. Its constant grazing activity keeps rockwork, glass, and equipment clean, providing both aesthetic and practical benefits to the aquarium. It is often recommended as one of the best natural algae control solutions for reef tanks.
This species is exceptionally hardy and easy to maintain, tolerating a wide range of conditions and readily accepting prepared foods. It is an ideal choice for beginner aquarists seeking an effective, attractive, and easy-to-keep algae control fish. The Molly Miller Blenny is completely reef-safe and peaceful toward most tankmates, though it may occasionally squabble with other blennies over territory.
